Awards Recital



The Awards Recital is the final branch program of the year and is designed to celebrate and honor students for their hard work and dedication. At this event, students receive the trophies and awards they have earned at events throughout the year. Participation Trophies are also awarded at the Awards Recital for points accumulated based on the Participation Point System. (10 participation points)

                 CCSM is located between Mountain and Towne Avenues in the same plaza as the Baskin Robbins Ice Cream Store.                                It is at the far end of the parking lot, and the William J. Huff Recital Hall can be approached from the central corridor.


Eligibility Requirement: None. Open to all instruments.
Repertoire Requirement: None
Time Limit: There is no time limit for a single, one-movement piece. If performing any additional repertoire (i.e. multiple pieces or                           movements), the total playing time must not exceed 8 minutes. Three pieces maximum per performer.

Entry Fee: $30.00 per student, $25.00 per ensemble student

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Thursday, May 8th, 2025



Please note that it is the duty of the teacher to ensure that students and their parents have read and understand the rules outlined in the Student/Parent Guidelines for Recitals & Competitions.

REGISTRATION

1) Complete registration for students online.
2) Print out the Teacher Cover Page, Participation Trophies Worksheet and Participation Trophies Form.
3) Mail entry fees and the completed cover page to the Program Coordinator.

4) Mail the completed Participation Trophies Worksheet and Participation Trophies Form to Mary Luk.

Entry fees must be postmarked by the day after the registration deadline and are non-refundable once scheduling has been completed. Please send one check per studio (from teacher, not parent or student) payable to Music Teachers' Association of CA.
